The English as a Second Language (ESL)program provides the foreign student more opportunities to develop the four macro-skills: listening-speaking, reading-writing (with greater focus on listening-speaking). The student is provided with additional lessons on grammar for a better understanding of the language.
The Filipino as a Foreign Language / Filipino Bilang Dayuhang Wika (FFL) program has been especially prepared for the foreign student based on the guidelines set forth by the Department of Education. This is taken by the students during regular class hours. Foreign students are pulled-out from their regular class during Filipino time and are met by the FFL Teacher.
An FFL student is not different from other students. She also takes quizzes as well as a periodical examination every quarter and participates in class through recitation and projects, among others.
